Night Players is what you ask? It's a show we decided to do! Us Paramount Players will be doing a show FRIDAY. I KNOW, FRIDAY?! It's at 8pm slt!  We got extra dance moves we'd like to share, it's burning us up inside.... well not really burning, that would so hurt, but it would keep the dancers in the north warmer.... ANYWHO, we LOVE to dance and perform and want to show off some more to public. We wanna dance and get it out of our system for an extra week! We hope to see you there. THIS FRIDAY, AT 8pm slt, an hour later than normal and a day early.

We still need extras... The Transylvanians and a few other parts. PLEASE, if anyone knows of someone who loves the movie and wants to be part of the show, let us know! if YOU want to be part of the show, let us know!! THE PARAMOUNT GRAND THEATER IS HAVING A CASTING CALL FOR OUR VERSION OF THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW which we will be presenting in November and December 2014.  Last year we called it "The Rocky Horrid Show" - this year we're calling it "The Rocky Horrid Show 2014." For those who didn't see our production last year, we want everyone to know this is not a "Rocky Horror Musical Revue" - - this is a Play, which runs a little over an hour.  It was a huge hit last year and of course, we're hoping it will be an even bigger hit this year!!! Most of the parts in the show are open.  Lotta and I have taken the same roles we did last year: Rocky and Magenta; we each love to perform our chosen roles and they both give us the fle...

SATURDAY, JULY 5TH STARING AT 7PM SLT 7pm slt is the  BURLESQUE SHOW - FOURTH ON THE FIFTH! Come join us for an evening of classy but sassy entertainment as we the PARAMOUNT GRAND THEATRE, the Paramount dancers dance for you at 7pm slt, in our holiday show, Fourth on the Fifth.   The players show their patriotic side! It;s a holiday weekend in the United States! Celebrate America's Independence Day.... a day late! Special performance of the dance troupe Dance Xcetera will be joining us! Before the show we have..... 5pm to 7pm UNA WOODRUNNER , great dj and dancer will be djing in the Paramount Grand Theatre for 2 hours starting at 5pm slt. She'll play it but only if you request it! Come boogie or cuddle with a loved one in the theatre and enjoy the tunes!

It's almost time for us to reopen, yay! Tomorrow night is Adam & Eve night at Seductive Dreamz with Path djing. Saturday, DJ Zea will be spinning her turn table at The Gazebo from 6pm to 8pm slt. This may or may not be canceled depending on Zea's real life health. But if she comes you are in for a real treat! Sunday, starting at 12pm slt, at The Gazebo, Path will be djing a tribute to Leonard Cohen for an hour. Scooter Fallen will take the stage and sing for us for hour at 1pm slt. Vicki Eriksen will be back hosting and at 2pm slt, will make you laugh with her comedy! Hope to see you all there. Old landmarks work, but if you made a landmark INSIDE the theatre, you may end up in a wall since the theatre is rebuilt! :D

Check the calendar on the right for details, but starting Thursday to Sunday we got something to entertain you at Paramount! Scooter has moved to Thursdays at 2 and Leannan is back at 5. Friday (if Dj Zea can make it, darn rl jobs!) will be djing. The Paramount troupe is at the Empire Room for a dance/skit. Saturday is the Bert & Gert Variety hour before our Creme de la Creme show. Sunday is the Pink Ladys dance troupe along with Vicki Eriksen. Sometime this week, Path is going to be helping out and is going to dj for an event to help a family in need. Everyone out there have a safe and happy new year!  We at Paramount are working on new shows and dancing our hearts out! We would also like to announce that SL's Comedian Vicki Eriksen is coming back to our theater on Sundays at 2pm slt sometime in the future! Come back January 11th at 7pm slt for Rocky Horrid.     On Sunday October 27, a Benefit was held at the Paramount Playhouse in Second Life to raise funds for SL member DJ Neil The Cowboy , who suffered a major health issue this summer and has no real life health insurance. DJ Neil has been left with only 5% of his vision following the episode, with two surgeries so far - and still facing at least one more in the future. DJ Neil has been unable to work since the event last July. Neil's real life wife and Second Life life both perform at the Paramount Playhouse, which reprised their recent Halloween Show for the Benefit. SL participant LeAnnBurt, Neil's real life wife, is a co-owner of the Paramount; at the present time she is working day and night as DJ Neil's caregiver, and family breadwinner as they struggle to deal with this devastating blow. TODAY, at 12pm slt Paramount Players are doing a show and the funds (tips) are going to DJ Neil to help with some of the medical bills they will have. Neil being a rl DJ for a radio station in his state does not have health insurance. All donations will be converted and given to DJ Neil with Love from Paramount Players!
